Adventure
What looks to be a random assortment of ticket stubs with a
school ID is actually the physical representation of the time I spent abroad.
In January 2017 I traveled to Reading, England to spend my Spring Semester of
my junior year of college at the University of Reading. While there I lived in
a home with fourteen other students from my college back in Virginia, while we
spent most of our time in school, we also took advantage of every moment we had
to travel.
Growing up I was lucky enough to spend time abroad with my
family and fell in love with travelling. Getting the opportunity to indulge and
learn about different cultures is one of the most amazing experiences so when I
was abroad, I was constantly in a learning zone. I collected my train, bus, plane,
and museum tickets because I have always been a sentimental person and having
these physical memories reminds me of the impact my study abroad semester had
on me.
